WakeMe Clock
The Alarm You Can't Shut Off

One of my biggest problems in the morning is dealing with my alarm clock.  Too often I reach over and turn it off without actually being awake.  To remedy that situation, I created WakeMe Clock, which requires me to type two random, ten letter words correctly in order to shut it off.

WakeMe displays the current time. You can set up to five alarms. The brightness of the display can be adjusted for your sleeping comfort. The clock can be displayed in Standard or Military time.

You can select any media file or CD track to be played when an alarm time is reached. A "Submarine Diving Sound" is included with the application, and is located in the "c:/Program Files/WakeMe" directory.

Once the alarm goes off, you are required to enter two words from the dictionary in order to deactivate it. It can be minimized to the system tray when not in use.

To change the time of an alarm, click once on the portion of the main window where an alarm time is displayed. Edit the time shown, being sure to specify either am or pm (if 12-hour display mode is selected). Once the alarm time has been edited, place a checkmark in the checkbox immediately to the left of the new time.

To select a new wakeup sound, double-click the name of the current selection (default is Beep). To use the CD player, select the CD button and adjust the options.
